Q: What is the Guarantee and Deposit Policy?
A: All reservations require credit card guarantee due at time of booking. The guest will be charged a prepayment of the cost of the first night within 1 day before arrival.

Q: What are your parking options?
A: The hotel only offers valet parking. Valet parking fee is $35 plus tax with in and out privileges. Self-parking is available at the Shops at Rivercenter and other nearby parking garages, pricing will vary.

Q: What is the check-in/check-out time? 

A: Guests can begin checking in at 4 p.m. and can check out any time before 11 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out can be accommodated upon request, based on availability. A fee of $75 will be accessed for early check-in and/or late check-out. You must be at least 21 years of age to check in to the hotel.

Q: Does your property allow pets?
A: The Menger Hotel gladly welcomes your four-legged family members! However, we kindly ask you to provide a non-refundable, one-time pet fee of $125 plus tax. Please do not leave your pet unattended, pet must not exceed 40 lbs. A non-refundable fee of $50 plus tax will be assessed for every additional pet, maximum two (2) pets..

Q: Do your guest rooms have a refrigerator and/or a microwave?
A: All guest rooms have a mini-fridge. Microwaves are not available to be placed inside guest rooms, however, there is one microwave available in the vending section of the 2nd floor.

Q: Can a specific room number or room placement be guaranteed?
A: Specific room numbers and room placement (section of the hotel) cannot be guaranteed but may be requested based on availability and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Q: What are the pool hours?
A: Our property is home to San Antonio’s largest outdoor pool, which guests can enjoy daily from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. The pool is seasonally heated from November through February.

Q: What are the fitness center hours and what type of equipment is available?
A: The Fitness Center is open from 6:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. The Fitness Center offers an array of cardio equipment with a fitness bike, an elliptical, a few treadmills, and a barbell weight set.

Q: What are the Menger Bar hours? Do you have a Happy Hour?
A: The Menger Bar is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight. Sunday from noon-10 p.m.. While the bar does not offer a Happy Hour menu, we invite you to try one of our seasonal craft cocktails. Visit the Menger Bar page to find out additional information.

Q: What are the Colonial Room hours and how can a reservation be made?
A: The Colonial Room Restaurant is open daily from 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Reservations may be made by calling the restaurant directly at (210) 225-6196. Check out the Colonial Room Restaurant page to discover additional details including menus and featured dishes.

Q: How much is the Menger's hotel tax?
A: Hotel Occupancy Tax is 16.75% and we will collect a 1.25% San Antonio Tourism PID (Public Improvement District) fee. This will apply to each taxable room night sold effective January 1st, 2019
